ST GEORGES DAY

ST GEORGES DAY was celebrated in Style during Glow Community Group. Some people dressed in national colours, while others enjoyed our very english meal - pizza and potaoes! Following our day today we concluded as we do every week with our after dinner activity - and during this we celebrated the day of our national saints with good english songs, a couple of quizzes, and a reminder that St George slayed the dragon, seen as a symbol for the devil, and how the St George cross reminds us that we too can slay the devil and know freedom through the blood stained cross of Jesus Christ.
