Over Holy Week four of our Junior Soldiers attended the annual Junior Holiday Week, again held at Robertsbridge. Captain Denise Cooper, our divisional childrens officer led through the week. Better late than never, we now include a report from this time. Junior Soldier Rebecca Marshall has submitted the following:-
Junior soldier camp was extremely fun.We played hide and seek when one of the leaders in the group went and hid in the grounds. It took my group ages, I was in the red buses. We went swimming everyday. Also I learnt to swim in the deep end. We had other activities like netball, play area, cricket and French cricket, hockey, craft and chill out time. On Wednesday we had a beach day. For breakfast we had an English breakfast for lunch we had Sweet n Sour Chicken and for dinner we had Swedish meatballs. Also we had a camp fire; it was a lot of fun. But the best thing was worship because it inspired me and we learn more about God, it was incredible.
My room was Squirrels it had me, Chelsea, Jordan, Rebecca, Hannah, Jackie and Natalie. The room leaders were Carolyn and Amanda. We had two bunk beds and three single beds. I shared one bunk bed with Chelsea with me on the bottom.
