AN IMPORTANT WEEK IN THE LIFE OF THE CHURCH

This Easter Time will be the final one shared with our Senior Leaders Sue and Ian. The previous four they have shared, have all been very special times, and it deeply hoped that again this year will have much to bring remembrance, healing, Salvation, Joy and Celebration. We invite all friends, members and readers of this blog to come and share with us in all that is in store.

We Start next Weekend - Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th March, with the special visit of Chick and Margaret Yuill. They have a powerful ministry, which we know God will use among us here in Ashford. On Saturday from 10.30am, we share in a day of retreat and renewal, led by the Yuills, with the focus - Faith, Foundation, Filling. The children will enjoy a day with Captain Sue and Clare. The day will conclude by 4pm. It is being held at the East Stour School. A meal is available. Do book your place with us now, or just turn up on the day. But it would be great to know in advance that you will be able to share the day with us.

HOLY WEEK continues with our theme for this year: I will wait....at the foot of the Cross. Precious moments to sit and reflect on what The Cross really means for us - or could mean for us. If you enjoy time to just be, this will be an important time for you. On Tuesday from 7.30pm, we meet for DEEPER at the home of our senior leaders. On Wednesday from 7.30pm, at our church centre. On Maundy Thursday from 7.30pm at our church centre, including the sharing of the Love Feast. Good Friday gives us opportunity in the morning to share with local churches in our town centre witness, and then from 2pm share in Hot Cross Buns etc. From 2.55pm there will be our reflection at The Cross. This will be held at the East Stour School

EASTER SUNDAY starts at 7am at the Wye Downs for our annual Churches Together Sonrise Service. We will then share Breakfast at the school from 8.30am. Prayer from 10am, leading into our morning celebration at 10.30am, which will include the enrolement of new soldiers of Jesus Christ in The Salvation Army. After this we will share our annual Family Buffet. We then invite you to come with us to STANHOPE where we will engage in a special EASTER OUTREACH EVENT for people of all ages.

FINALLY ON EASTER MONDAY our annual Community Easter Event, for people of all ages, takes place at the school from 10.30am-1pm. A whole host of activities and events....really not to be missed.
