Today was another day blessed by God. In the morning, despite a number away for various reasons (including the weather), we had over seventy and had a great time of worship, celebration and encouagement, led by Luke Johnson. Our senior leader, Ian, spoke, and spoke about Kingdom People, looking at what it really means to be a citizen of this Kingdom and the reality of what it means to be part of the Kingdom. Following this Gary Chittenden was enrolled as a soldier of Jesus Christ in The Salvation Army, reminded of the importance of being a Kingdom Person, and during his time of prayer and dedication people were encouraged too to renew their commitment and covenant with God. SUNDAY 15TH JULY
An extended time of prayer followed and God's Spirit came powerfully over many. Disciple College at night followed, and again a powerful time shared, including praying for those prayers entrusted to us in Tenterden. Ian again led and spoke, and the focus was Kingdom Power. This gave us time to discuss this subject as well as receive teaching on it. During prayer ministry again many people received prayer - some renewing their covevant with God.

why do you have to be so judgemental the weather was good but people do have lives apart from the salvation army and things do crop up from time to time especially with an older generation youll find out one day
thank you for your comment. not sure where you are coming from about being judgemental, all that was said was that there was a number away - for various reasons..... thats all. God Bless You lots.....
Maybe anonymous would like to be brave enough and put their name to their comment people were not being judged but it was fact people were not their some due to the rather changeable weather and not wanting to come out - which is fine no judgement made, secondly others were away supporting family - which is fine no judgement made and others were poorly - no judgement made. THe Salvation Army does not matter but GOd does ultimately and we all stnad before him one day to be judged. Age doesn't come into anything that was said so maybe you could shed some light to the world of bloggers?
please explain anonymous where you see judgement in what is written? i don't see it
Dear anonymous
The reason 'the weather' was probably mentioned was that we have readers from all over the world as you can see on the map and they may be interested to know such information while they sun themselves on the beach ! LOL
We do not judge, but support. It is worth mentioning numbers were down:
1) To show we noticed valuable member were missing.
2) To show we understand that this happens !!!!!
We had various members who were very ill, visiting family, one of our junior soldiers, we are proud to support as a choirboy at Canterbury Cathedral and those that yes could not venture out due to the weather. This happens but that does not mean we ignored them, each one would have been contacted to make sure that they are ok !
Please do not be judgemental !
